The product

Will it damage my carpet or rug?

No. The blade is precision-set to lift hair, not cut fibres. Tested on hundreds of British carpets including wool, synthetic, low-pile and deep-pile. Use light pressure and let the tool do the work.

Does it work on sofas, car seats, or stairs?

Shedd is designed specifically for carpets and rugs. We don't recommend it on upholstery, leather, or fabric sofas. There are better tools for those surfaces.

Will it work on my pet's hair?

Yes. The blade lifts loose and embedded hair from any pet. Dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs. The denser the carpet, the more dramatic the result.

How long does it last?

Years. There's nothing to replace, charge, or refill. Wipe the blade after use and store it in the drawer box. We've designed Shedd to be the last pet hair remover you'll buy.

How do I clean it?

Wipe the blade with a damp cloth after use. That's it. No oils, no special cleaning solution.

Can I use it on a wet carpet?

No. Use it dry. The blade lifts hair best when the carpet fibres are dry.

Delivery

When will I get it?

Free UK delivery in 2 to 3 working days. Orders placed before 2pm Monday to Friday are dispatched same-day.

Do you ship internationally?

Not yet. We ship to the UK only at the moment. We're working on it. Sign up to our email list to be the first to know when international shipping launches.

How will my order arrive?

Shedd ships in its drawer-style rigid box, inside a recycled-card outer mailer. No plastic, no excess packaging.

Returns

What if I don't like it?

30-day returns, no questions asked. Send it back in the original box and we'll refund you. See our full returns policy for details.

Who pays for return shipping?

You do, unless the product arrived damaged or faulty. In that case we cover return shipping and replacement.

RSPCA partnership

Is the donation real?

Yes. £0.50 from every Shedd sold goes to the RSPCA. Quarterly contribution totals are published on our RSPCA partnership page.

Does the donation come out of my price?

No. It comes from our margin. Your price isn't increased to fund the donation.

Gifting

Can Shedd be gift-wrapped?

Shedd already arrives in a drawer-style rigid gift box, ready to give. We don't currently offer gift wrap on top of that.

Can I include a gift message?

Not yet. We're working on it. For now, the box is gift-ready as it arrives.

Wholesale

Do you sell to independent retailers?

Yes. We work with independent pet retailers, gift shops, and lifestyle stores. Email trade@shedd.co.uk for our wholesale price list and minimum order quantities.
