Where we ship
We currently ship to the United Kingdom only, including UK mainland, Highlands and Islands, and Northern Ireland. We don't ship internationally yet. We're working on opening up shipping to the Republic of Ireland and Europe — sign up to our email list at the bottom of any page to be the first to know when it launches.
Cost
UK delivery is free on all orders, including Highlands, Islands, and Northern Ireland. There are no shipping charges added at checkout.
Carrier
We ship every order via Royal Mail Tracked 48.
Dispatch times
- Order before 2pm Monday to Friday: dispatched same-day
- Order after 2pm or on weekends: dispatched the next working day
- UK bank holidays: dispatched on the next working day
Delivery times
- UK mainland: 2 to 3 working days from dispatch
- Highlands, Islands, and Northern Ireland: 3 to 5 working days from dispatch
Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. We're not responsible for delays caused by the carrier or events outside our control (postal strikes, severe weather, customs disruption, and so on).
Tracking
You'll receive a tracking link by email as soon as your order is dispatched. If you haven't received the tracking email after 24 hours of ordering, please check your spam folder, then email hello@shedd.co.uk.
If you're not in
Royal Mail Tracked 48 will leave your parcel with a neighbour or in a safe place if you're out, or take it to your local sorting office for collection. You'll get a card explaining what happened and what to do next.
Risk and ownership
Once we hand your parcel to the carrier, risk of loss passes to you. This means if a parcel is lost or damaged in transit, you should contact us at hello@shedd.co.uk and we'll work with the carrier to resolve it.
Damaged in transit
If your order arrives damaged, please email a photo of the damage and the packaging to hello@shedd.co.uk within 7 days of delivery. We'll send a replacement and arrange a return at no cost to you.
Lost in transit
If your tracking shows the parcel as delivered but you haven't received it, or it's been more than 10 working days since dispatch with no movement on the tracking, email hello@shedd.co.uk. We'll investigate with Royal Mail and either resend or refund.
Wrong address
If you provided the wrong delivery address at checkout, please email us as soon as possible at hello@shedd.co.uk. We'll change it if we can. Once an order has been dispatched, we can't change the delivery address. If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address, we can resend it for the cost of a second posting.
What's in the parcel
Shedd ships in its drawer-style rigid box, inside a slim recycled-card outer mailer to protect it in transit. No bubble wrap, no plastic packaging, no marketing inserts. Just the product, ready to use or to give.
